Well pedagogy in rude translates to preaching, and that will be the topic of these blogs mostly. Hope you won’t hate them!
Why are students ragged? Those in favour of it say that it’s a warming up process, but starting from Tom Brown’s school days it has presented itself as something else- torture on helpless newcomers.
Recently a young student was crippled by “warming up” process.
I think ragging in private should be banned, if new comers are ragged it will have to be done on one single day and in presence of teachers.
If any student is caught ragging in stealth he should be either transferred or punished depending on what he/she was doing in the name of ragging!
The way this thing is scarring young men and women it should be banned especially in private, away from the eyes of teachers of that institution- absolutely!

Is “ragging” like going through some initiation rite? What do they do?
It’s been banned in a lot of places after people have died or been injured. I assume it’s what we would call “hazing”.
i agree and i think it should be banned here too! its no way of knowing each other!
starting from silly jokes to monstrosity! its done by the older students to newcomers, and mostly it goes far beyond physical torture.
