Law 16 of 48 laws of power by Robert Greene

Sharmishtha Basu (author) writes

Law sixteen of 48 laws of power by Robert Greene shares another practical suggestion- Use absence to increase respect and honour.

It is as true as it can be as long as you have that “material” for which people will miss you and as long as you know how to use the exact amount of absence, or else people will just move and forget you!

This is a law which life proves abundantly, when we get something without asking for it, we lose interest in it, but if that thing is snatched away and is returned after a long absence, often we start to ache for a thing, like rain or sunshine! 😉 Like a loyal friend or lover…

There are many examples of this law, but using it can be both- gaining or losing I think! a bit will depend on luck!
