Of dreams and reality

Scavenging for food
In leftovers
Left by others
In dustbin.

Even then there is no respite
He hears sniggers
He hears rude taunts
From stay loiterers.

They can afford it
For their tummy is full
They have enough time
To harass weak.

Pebbles hit him hard
He tries to ignore
Then hatred reaps
Its ugly harvest.
