Of dreams and reality
They say we are flocks of sheep,
Are we truly?
They say we need a shepherd,
Do we need one desperately?
What if that shepherd is asleep
Right inside our mind, heart?
Waiting to be woken up?
So he could guide us through.
So many times it happens
Generations have been misguided
By monsters pretending to be shepherds,
Leading everyone to destruction.
Leaving behind bitter regrets,
Still people fall in these traps
Created by syrupy tongues
Joined with wily cunning!
