Chanakya Neeti 14

You can’t make a saint out of a wicked man, no matter how many times you rinse coal it won’t become gold.

It certainly is next to impossible, the word “impossible” exists only in dictionary to me, I believe in all types of possibilities, so, I do certainly believe that you can make a saint of a wicked man, but, very rarely do people have an absolute change of heart I believe, their innate nature stays dormant within, and often wake up.

Chanakya was the mentor, guide and prime minister of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya. His words were very wise when it came to explaining human nature and ways of actual world.
