Chanakya Neeti 21

If a tree is leafless that is not spring’s fault, an owl can’t see in daylight, that is not sun’s fault, it is just fate.

This is something so many of us don’t get, do we? Often through-out our lives! With wisdom we only expand the list of “it is not his/its fault” items.

When we are kid we blame a dog if it bites us, when we are wiser we realize and often discover that we somehow made that beast bite us or it was just a mean dog and we were careless or naïve enough to not know that! With time we start treating human beings in exactly same fashion, when they betray our trust or harm us without any reason at all! Finally we start living in full awareness and peace.

Chanakya was the mentor, guide and prime minister of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya. His words were very wise when it came to explaining human nature and ways of actual world.
As I am too engrossed with my twins ( and check them out guys, my twin Ezines Agnishatdal and Agnijaat) I will use him as my own and your teacher for at least a couple of months. Hope you will benefit too.
